The Railway Inn was opened in 1868 by Truman's Brewery of London. The pub is located next to the old railway line, although now closed.
Present day, the pub is a family owned and run free-house pub, restaurant and B&B. We are the only remaining pub in the village of Docking. Being just a stones throw away from the scenic North Norfolk coast line, makes our charming country pub the perfect base for bird watchers, golfers, walkers, cyclists, families and couples who wish to explore this royal county.
Why not enjoy a relaxed drink with us in our cosy, quaint bar. You will find a well kept selection of local ales, draught lagers, wines and gins. Your choice of drink can be enjoyed in front of our warming log burner.
You can also dine with us in our restaurant, we offer seasonal food all carefully created and prepared by our Chef. We use, where possible, the best local produce Norfolk has to offer.
Our large conservatory is perfect for any private functions from party's to wakes.
